Meta VR Glasses are Meta’s ultralight VR headset, announced at Connect on September 23, 2026 and previously known as Project Phoenix. They cost $1,299.99 and go on sale in spring 2027. The glasses weigh about 100 grams and hand compute, battery and storage to a roughly 300-gram puck on an optical tether, so nothing heavier than a pair of sunglasses sits on your face. Controllers are sold separately.
